On the 22nd of April the children celebrated Lawrence day which is the anniversary of Stephen’s death.
Stephen Lawrence Day was announced as an event in 2018, 25 years after his death. It was first marked in 2019. A number of children spoke in our whole school assembly on Friday about how the Stephen Lawrence Foundation helps educate young people. His legacy and foundation links closely to our school vision and race charter themes of anti-racism, respect and celebrating diversity
